Project Overview
PT Kaltim Jasa Sekuriti is a security services company operating across Bontang and surrounding areas, running a 4-group rotating shift system (3 working groups + 1 off, cycling through 3 shifts per day) across multiple client sites. KJS Mobile is the field-facing half of their new ERP: it's how guards actually clock in, and how the system knows who's where, on which shift, at any given moment — feeding directly into the payroll and billing modules of the ERP.
The Challenge
Attendance for security guards spread across many client sites, working night/day rotating shifts, had no reliable way to verify someone actually clocked in from the right location
Manual attendance tracking made shift swaps, overtime requests, and payroll calculation error-prone and slow
No single source of truth connecting "who worked where, when" to payroll and client billing

To address these challenges, we developed a tailored digital solution that combines modern technology, intuitive user experiences, and scalable system architecture.
GPS + selfie verification on every clock-in, validated against each site's location radius
Built as a genuine cross-platform app — one shared codebase (Kotlin Multiplatform) powering both native iOS and Android apps, rather than maintaining two separate codebases
Shift-swap requests with peer approval and automatic validation that minimum staffing per post is maintained
Built-in guardrails: the system blocks a guard from working an impossible 24-hour-straight shift
Directly wired into the ERP's payroll and billing modules, so attendance data doesn't need re-entry anywhere downstream
